I can take responsibility for my own learning	I have needed help to be organised and find it hard to decide on what my learning steps are.  Often I do not complete my work	I have needed some help with deciding on my next learning steps.  I haven’t always been able to complete my tasks	I can reflect on my learning and decide what my next steps are.  I have a positive attitude and my work is usually the best I can do.	I can explain what I am learning to do, what my next steps are and how I am going to achieve them.  My work is always at a high standard.
I can demonstrate creativity	I can copy an idea but It    has been difficult for me to create something new. I have needed a lot of help	I have needed some help to create something new with the art form I have been learning	I have used my own ideas and created something new with the art form I have been learning	I have adapted ideas from other people and created new ways of doing things in the art form I have been learning
I can communicate my ideas with others	I can sometimes share ideas about my work with others     if I have help.  I don’t usually participate in discussions.	I can explain my ideas to others when I am asked to.  I sometimes participate with others without being asked	I can usually explain my thoughts and ideas about my own and others’ work in a positive way.  I participate independently.	I can share my ideas and opinions clearly and positively.  I always participate in discussions and ask questions to encourage others to share
