P - Proximity
The CRAP acronyms are used to ensure that you follow marking criteria when assessing your work to make sure that you have all elements. This is very critical if you are wanting high marks when doing this on publisher.
This was used to guide us with creating business card as an example. We also used this to assess the brochures that was created. This became crucial with creating the brochures because we had to make sure that everything was aligned with each other. We also had to think about the colour palette and how that contributed to contrast. You can't have to shades of blue because that wouldn't give what your creating much effect.

ReplyDeleteThis is a solid post - I was a tad concerned when I first looked at the picture thinking it was your 'good example' thank goodness it's not! haha! Thank you for explaining why you use the CRAP criteria to analysis a business card. Do you have any examples of what you think is a good business card? Have you ever created one?
