ART PROGRESS
Based on my theme — Propaganda/ Anti Establishment I have come up with the idea to provoke gender inequality and the pay gap throughout my whole board. The Queen will be the main motif on the board.

10/03---14/03
This is ideas I have gathered to hopefully put on my board as a complete piece. I have also sketched out my board layout. The idea for my board layout is to show the development of paintings starting with a smaller piece and increasing the size later on. The third picture has minor ideas that I was hoping to put on my board as a visual representation of women. In these images, I have sketched out pieces of art that I wanted on my board.

This image here was my original idea. I was wanting to do Sexuality and use women as my main idea throughout the bored. My Dean thought it wasn't a good idea if the perspective was from a mothers point of view. I agreed to change the idea but still have traces of Sexuality. The idea I had come up with, with the help of Miss Keene 'GENDER INEQUALITY'.

There were sketches I had for my original idea that I can still use in my current now.

22/04--14/04
This was my starting point. The first image was a rough sketch that I created as a piece to show people reaching for equality. In today's society, women are often treated differently to men which is why I wanted to provoke on my board or because I chose this as my theme to show the strength and ability women have. My whole theme was based on a Banksy artwork that I had seen. I wanted his style of art incorporated in this because his style is very street and has really good meanings behind it even if you don't understand the concept.

Keeping on the Women topic the first image was an idea from my friend. She said that it would be a good idea to have a person on a bed or table showing the markings that the Surgical Doctor is to perform on this person as part of what society wants them to look like as to compared to the reality of things. The second image was a play around I did at morning tea one time, but Mrs Clemence seems to like it so it'll contribute to the style of painting in my board.

This is an art collage. Unfinished. The whole idea was to have cut-out letters explaining the pay gap with the Queen as a MOTIF in the image. This was inspired by the type of art that Micheal Mew does. I like that he uses simple drawings with complex collages.

Unknown Date____
This is one of my completed artworks that I have done. The general idea was to show a woman-like- figure crying to the things that are printed on the background. The words used are to show how these are affected by women and men too. The inspiration was from Banksy and Shepard Fairey. I used the style that is normally used by Shepard Fairy to show minor contrast on the face and neck. The use of more cool tones that Banksy used was used to create this more monochrome art piece.

Also Uncompleted: This was a piece that I created while mucking around. Using the Queen as my general MOTIF I decided to rip the Queen's face in half and draw a manly figure in the middle. Obviously, it's uncompleted at the moment so there isn't much to evaluate. Things to do next: think about the proportions of the image and a background.

One of my nearly completed artworks that need a little more depth and detail on it. This was inspired by Banksy with the style

This was one artwork I had trouble with creating. Inspired by Cindy Sherman, I used an image that she created using half her normal face and the other half as a clown. In my artwork, I did makeup dripping from the other half of her face rather than the clown. The concept was to show that women specifically don't need to look a certain way for people,
