As part of PBL, we decided to do the action of doing a walk. The whole purpose of the walk was to experience how girls are taken away into slavery, human trafficking and sales. On Wednesday 29th, 2017 was the walk day. We walked from school to Westfield Mall and back. It took approximately THREE hours. At the end, we had sore feet and were hot even though it was an overcast. During the walk, we got a lot of honks from passing cars and thumbs up even some encouraging words from passing pedestrians. We were even able to walk through the mall getting stares. And somehow it took us a week to make 4 posters. Whoops. And only ONE looked good! There was only one mishap were a man passing in a car pulled the finger at us... But other than that everything was good! We had a great day and returned to school with pride.
